Specializing in working with the geriatric population, Ali evaluates and treats patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Ali works closely with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team to implement a plan of care that focuses on achieving an optimal level of function.

It is common for geriatric-aged patients to present with multiple diagnoses or comorbidities. Although a patient may request a referral for a specific diagnosis or problem, Ali will complete a thorough systems review and often incorporate treatment for all major systems that are impaired into the plan of care.
Common conditions treated include:
-
Balance and vestibular disorders

-
Cardiovascular disorders (including MI, CAD, CHF, post-operative rehab following cardiac surgery or venous grafting)

-
General deconditioning (including generalized weakness, decreased aerobic endurance, failure to thrive)

-
Musculoskeletal disorders (including fractures and post-operative orthopedic rehab)

-
Neurological disorders (including stroke, Parkinsons [LSVT BIG Program], Multiple Sclerosis)

-
Pulmonary disorders (including COPD, asthma, pneumonia)
